Avoiding the Pitfalls of Environmental Spills and Release Reporting – Arizona

Environmental managers frequently deal with industrial discharges, accidental spills and other releases that may require regulatory reporting, whether those occur during routine operations or a major incident.  As part of its ongoing educational series on environmental management, Trinity Consultants is pleased to present this topic to help clients navigate the confusing myriad of state and federal reporting obligations for accidental spills and other releases that frequently occur at industrial facilities.  What exactly is a “release"?  Do I need to report?  If so, which regulatory agencies need to be informed?  What are my reporting obligations?

Trinity Consultants will answer these and other important questions about accidental spills and reportable releases for major environmental programs, including, air pollution, wastewater, stormwater, hazardous waste, and chemical management. Trinity Consultants will highlight reporting obligations that are unique to Arizona, as well as under federal law. The agenda for this complimentary event will cover the following major environmental programs and others:

  • Clean Air Act
  • RCRA
  • CERCLA
  • EPCRA
  • Clean Water Act
  • SPCC Programs
  • NPDES Wastewater
  • Industrial Stormwater

Thaddeus is a Senior Consultant in Trinity's Phoenix Office and is registered as a Professional Environmental Engineer in the State of Arizona.  Thaddeus has a wide variety of multimedia experience, providing consulting services for clients in industries such as refrigerated warehousing, chemical manufacturing, construction, wastewater treatment, dairy, and the scrap and steel industries.  Thaddeus specializes in federal OSHA compliance, compliance audits, oil pollution prevention, stormwater, wastewater compliance, hazardous waste management, process safety management, risk management, and air quality permitting and compliance.
